We believe Entrepreneurship is the key to a progressive future. It is that skill which bears the capability to revolutionise the entire ecosystem existing around us. 
With this thought in mind, the Ecell HBTU Kanpur aims to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in its students. We stand at a crucial point in the history of the world where the startup culture is a fast spanning trend. Enabling the students with the requisite skills and expertise necessary for entrepreneurship, our ultimate vision is to create an impact on our students through various initiatives like talks, sessions and many more. 

 

Initiatives
In this maiden attempt we, a bunch of enthusiastic students have taken up the challenge of establishing an Entrepreneurship Cell in our college by participating in The National Entrepreneurship Challenge under IIT Bombay with the sole aim of inculcating a culture of entrepreneurship amongst our students.

Created with the vision to promote entrepreneurship amidst all the campuses in India, and make people realise that coming up with an innovative idea is not rocket science, National Entrepreneurship Challenge is the first of its kind pan-India competition undertaken by The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay.National Entrepreneurship Challenge (NEC) is a national-level competition organised every year by IIT Bombay. One team from any educational institute can take part in this competition, and they are provided with a set of tasks which they have to complete in a given time-frame. The teams which perform well are helped by IIT Bombay in establishing an e-cell in their institution. This competition aims at promoting startup and entrepreneurship culture in educational institutions across the country.
